Emancipator Steam Vehicle

More to come of this alternate history.....

I picked up a damaged Steve Weston model in The Hobby Bunker's "Flea Market" room for 1/3 the price.

It unsnaps easily if you want to paint the model as the Mark IV.

Two spare Armies In Plastic Gatling Guns.

The idea was to make a Victorian "Steam Tank" with objects I already had in my work shop. It also had to be technology as close to the 1860s as possible.  Unfortunately for me chain tracks were late 1890s and early 1900s. I had to wing it on this feature.

Trial and error happened.

The "Emancipator" is basically a railroad locomotive running backwards. More to come on the features.

  1. A very impressive tank!
It was difficult to understand the President, but it's something quite funny!
    (tanks you Scott!)

  2. Thank you.

It's what President Lincoln said about the USS Monitor.

  3. Excellent converting work. I hope to do something similar with the A7V from Steve Weston.

    1. Fun but that's $28 and the Mark VI was marked down to $10

  4. There is something wonderfully addictive about steampunk and this little distraction is no exception. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

  5. I love your photographic scenes. The effect of looking through the railings and then the close up is quite wonderful. I agree about the whole Steampunk concept being addictive and great fun.
