54mm Italian Cantiniere

The man from Sergeant Miniatures,  Mr. Sanzio Guerrini, sent me a sample of his work. He does the Italian Wars of Independent in 54mm metal with side eras of the US Civil War, Hans Christian Anderson, and Canadian Mounties. His work is toy like and fun and he sells both painted miniatures and castings on request. See www.sergeantminiatures.com  he was English language pages.

He's my painting of one of his Bersaglieri  Cantinieres...

My daughter just said that she has "awful teeth" so I'll have to get my "O" brush.

  1. She's no great beauty, but I suspect some of the original canteen girls were no better.

    1. You are correct and there ARE photos to prove that.

  2. For me the face consists of a single coat of Humbrol flesh paint, and I find that hard enough. I have a long way to go to get teeth, awful or not!

    1. "O" or "OO" round brushes, patience, and one of those magnification lamps. Over 50 years and I still struggle.

  3. What's wrong with her teeth - they look just fine ... from a British point of view!
