Toy Style French Marine Infantry , Franco Prussian War

 These figures are salvaged and converted Britains Ltd. Belgian Grenadiers. "Green Stuff" details were added including the Epaulettes. Paperclip tent poles are on the packs. The "Trail--- Arms" right arms are home cast Britains copies. The "Troupes de Marine" were involved in the Battle of Bazeilles (August 31–September 1, 1870). Marines can be seen in the painting "The Last Cartridges"   by Alphonse de Neuville.  

                             A few salvaged Britains towns people inhabit the village plus home cast street lamps.
