Repaired and repainted Britains Ltd.and others.

Possible cast members fortfuture blog posts. I'll try to pick up some more at the next miniatures show and get a metal cow for the milking woman, and metal sheep for the shepherd.

Repainting these figures probably ruined the collectible value.

The shepherd

Land girl and various farm people. The right three could be back in the 19th century.

The woman below is from a French company and is scattering seeds.

A Monty Python character?

"Wot's all this then?!"

Village vicars.

Milking woman waiting for her cow.

Maybe I can find the cart that went with these figures.

  1. They look good and as for the collectable value being lost due to painting..it´s something that´s never bothered me.
The Monty Python one..he could also be Thompson or Thomson, one of the detectives from Tintin

  2. When run of the mill figures are in shabby condition they aren't worth a huge amount anyway and they look so much better now.
