Royal Artillery 1775

These are converted Imrie/Risley castings that I've had in drawer for 30 years and an English Gun that was originally painted incorrectly. I only had one prolonge sling figure. Hopefully the figures are "close" to 1775 as this is supposed to be one of the British guns sent out from Boston with Lord Percy's reinforcements on April 19. You can see some Grenadiers withdrawing back to Boston on the right of the photos.

The "grass" is a Faux Fur sample that has been trimmed and colored with acrylic paints.

Conte Collectables Beau Geste vignette

Conte's Beau Geste playset included a vignette of the "Viking's Funeral" of Beau. His brother Digby managed set up Beau's funeral in the barracks of Fort Zinderneuf. The dead Sergeant Markoff is the "dog" at Beau's feet. In the 1939 film Digby, played by Robert Preston, plays Last Post with a handkerchief  muffled bugle. Brian Donlevy played the evil Sergeant with Gary Cooper as Beau. This vignette is close to the film  except for the French flag Digby shrouded Beau with so I painted the pillow as the French Flag. The two figures of Cooper and Donlevy are pretty close for portraits for 54mm figures.
