I took 4 figures from the set toward making one full crew. I still need the # 4 gunner with the primer lanyard.

Is that first cannon made of cast iron? It looks like one I bought at Jamestown, VA, circa 1958 for 50 cents.
ReplyDeleteThat might have been an early Penncraft cannon. I've seen a few of them around in real cast iron. They use some kind of pot metal now. The one in the photo is a little smaller than the Penncraft guns.
