Wagon Train Figures restored.

Over 40 years ago I built a Wagon Train diorama, It was a bit too large to sit on any of my shelves and sat, over hanging  a low shelf in my display room. Last Christmas I heard a crash in that room and found that my Daughter-in-Law's cat had tried to use the diorama as a step. I dismantled the wreckage and put the pieces away.

Recently I repaired and  repainted the figures.

I found and painted a group of barrels, boxes and trunks for a barricade. I only have two wagons. Both are conversions of old Britains Ltd Prairie Schooners.

Miss Elphinstone from The War of the Worlds.

My first figure of a planned vignette from H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. This is Miss Elphinstone, sister in law of Mrs. Elphinstone. The metal figure is from White Tower miniatures in the UK. It was meant to a Wild West figure. I hope to have the Narrator's Brother, Mrs. Elphinstone, and the horse cart from a incident during the retreat from the Martians.
