Early April 1865 and General Sheridan's Cavalry chews at the tail of General Lee's army as it tries to link with General Johnston in North Carolina. I'm reading April 1865: The Month That Saved America by Jay Winik who dramatizes Lee's surrender pretty well.
Toy Soldiers of San Diego's figures are relatively easy to convert. I like to have my cavalry with drawn sabers and TSSD have several of the figures that have options to change the pistol or flag pole to a sword hand.
