Armies In Plastic Artillery Conversions.


......can make Union and Confederate gunners. I graft AIP "Kepi heads" from their Berdan's Sharpshooter/USMarines (etc) set onto the British gunner bodies with Zap A Gap, 1/16 plastic rod, and a 1/16 drill in a pin vice.

    I have a had a lot of problems with applying anything to AIP's soft plastic. Might I ask what you did to achieve the durable-looking matt colour blue in the last photo?

      I use Zap-A-Gap as an adhesive and craft shop (any brand) acrylic paint. I give the figures a spray of Matt Finish spray . I hope this helps Major.
