I was going to post something about the Salem Zouaves with figures I have. There is a "Salem Zouave" reenactment group locally that focus's on the early U.S. Civil War and social rather that combat activities. That's fitting as the Salem Zouaves as a unit was never in combat. One member was an old acquaintance from the 1980s who's wedding reception I attended. I just found out that the gentleman passed away in 2007. Here's his Wikipedia entry and some Facebook links to activities of the Salem Zouaves.
