World War One art of Heinrich Zille

Looking for pictures on an auction site I discovered Heinrich Zille

He did an album of humorous illustrations of the adventures of two German World War One soldiers in occupied France. If you know German, any translations will be appreciated.


















I especially like this one that predates J R R Tolkien....
