Manny Gentile's blog has a good entry on his model Cheval De Frise. http://toysoldiersforever.blogspot.com/2011/04/cheval-de-frise-in-54mm.html
I was reminded of the 1962 Topps Civil War News Bubble Gum Card set.

The set of cards had THREE cards with death by pointed stick among numerous cards with other gruesome shootings, slashings, and explosions. 50 years ago I remember staging some of the scenes in the cards and now that I'm a grown-up..here it goes again.

Nice idea. Great to see
ReplyDeleteWe were gruesome kids back then. Having more experience with actual pain (but NOT actual war) I wince now that I see those old collectable cards again.
