Spahi Cantinieres

I'm not sure if there really were any Spahi Cantinieres.....

 The only images I've seen are printed paper soldiers from the 19th Century and a German made flat figure. Maybe there is a photo out there somewhere.

    I think they must have existed, as there is some consistency to the various treatments re. fashion/colour etc...?

    Thanks "Maverick". The Paper soldier company assigns cantinieres to just about every unit and army they covered...even British highland regiments! That was what makes me wonder.

    I should have said that I have seen on photo of a Spahi cantiniere in WW One but not in those "uniforms." I'm going to keep looking as it would be fun to find an photos.
