LOD Trojan War Greeks

I added more figures to my LOD Enterprises 60mm Trojan War collection.  Below are the figures I painted as Greeks, added to first figures I painted of Homer's heroes. LOD's figures are a combination of what is known about the Bronze Age, the era when Homer composed the Iliad, and the imagination of the sculptor.  I think that you can use all the figures as Greeks or Trojans as LOD molded all the figures in blue or tan for choosing up sides if you like unpainted figures. Since I painted the figures and there were no uniforms back then,  I color coded the Greeks and Trojans for recognition on the table. My Greeks have white and yellowish tunics with bronze armor. Some arms and heads have been swopped around and I replaced the bendy spears with brass rod.

Next will be Trojans.

Expeditionary Force brand United States Navy 54mm plastic figures.

These figures are made from the shirt sleeve figures in the Expeditionary Force  Royal Navy Landing Party set.  Figures are from two boxes. I gave the Americans less uniform clothing as opposed to the Royal Navy figures in jackets.  Authentic? In this case the clothing choice is to set the two nation's sailors apart on my table. I gave the low ranking officer a civilian style undress hat and working uniform.

Some weapons from the arms chest have blackened metal to retard rusting. Sailors have painted canvas cartridge boxes.

                                     Nice Blunderbuss figure.

Expeditionary Force needs to make more hand to hand poses. I have seen a  collector using these figures for a shipboard diorama.  As the set is meant to be sailors fighting on land, the firearms are included over pistols and cutlasses with just one pose per set.

Pretty good figures from Expeditionary Force.

Expeditionary Force brand Royal Navy 54mm plastic figures.

X-Force Landing Party set of Royal Navy figures from the Napoleonic era. These figures are from two boxes with 8 sailors and one junior officer armed for a land raid. I used the same hat heads and the figures in jackets to give the party a more uniform look than how the sailors might have appeared. Other figures in set are in shirt sleeves.  Those will be American sailors.
