Disney's Cantinieres
Back in the 1970s, the Italian franchise of Disney did comic book covers of Disney characters in historical uniforms. Despite being worn by anthropomorphized animals, they look fairly authentic.
Since I found out about Cantinieres (due to you) I keep being amazed about how much there is about them. I would never have dreamed that disney would have done some of thier characters dressed like them..let alone disney comic book covers featuring historical uniforms..and then historically accurate. Cheers paul
This is what the internet was invented for! Obscure, esoteric, facinating....Thanks for posting.
