His usual models are slim fashionable German women often with dark hair unlike the stereotype of the buxom blond. While idealized, the images show the German home front early in WW One. The "model" usually associates with officers but the images I like are where the enlisted man gets some attention.

They look very good, The train ones look excellent...almost a 3D effect (or it might be my eyes :-) )
